How to play the Gdim on your ukulele To play Gdim we put the index finger on the first fret of the C string, Next the middle finger is placed on the first fret of the A string and then the ring finger goes on the third fret of the E string. It’s a moderate stretch for your ring finger but nothing too difficult. Keep the fingertips straight as possible so there is no muting of nearby strings. And don’t forget to play the open G string as that is essential.
