How to play the Am on your ukulele

A minor is a rather easy chord to play with just the middle finger placed on the second fret of the G string. Keep that top joint of the finger as perpendicular as possible that way you avoid accidentally muting the C string below it. Make sure all the strings sound clear when plucked, with no bad or dead sounds.
