When playing Ddim you have to mute the A string, this can be done by letting the side of your palm lightly touch it. Your index finger is placed in the first fret of the G string and the middle finger goes on the first fret of the E string. Finally, the ring finger takes the second fret of the C string. Try and keep the fingers straight so they all fit in the tight space without interfering with one another. Pluck all the strings to make sure the right notes sound or are purposely muted.
