How to play the Aadd9 on your ukulele To play the Aadd9 chord we first put our index finger on the first fret of the C string. Next the middle finger goes on the second fret of the G string and the ring finger plays the second fret of the A string. Keep the tops of the finger joints perpendicular so you do not touch more than the string you are on. Make sure all notes sound when first plucking this chord including the open E string.
