How to play the G6 on your ukulele The G6 chord is a simple two finger chord! We start with the middle finger on the second fret of the C string. After that the ring finger is placed on the second fret of the A string. Keep both fingertips straight up so you don’t accidentally mute the open G and E strings. You can also play this chord with your index and middle finger, so long as all the notes sound clear when strummed.
