How to play the Edim on your ukulele The Edim is another pinky stretching chord! The index finger goes on the first fret of the A string and then the pinky is stretched all the way to the fourth fret of the C string. It isn’t too difficult but for a new player this may be a little uncomfortable. You may have to adjust your grip to get the best hold in this position. Make sure to keep the finger joints perpendicular to avoid muting the open G and E strings.
